I am a qualified, accredited psychosexual and
relationship therapist with experience in
both private practice and in the NHS. I take
an integrative humanistic approach to
counselling couples and individuals. I also
draw on a range of cognitive behavioural
techniques where these are likely to be
helpful.
The therapy I offer is all about talking and does not involve any physical
contact or activities in my presence. Sometimes I will recommend a gradual
programme of gentle tasks or activities to be undertaken at home between therapy sessions. This is always fully negotiated with the couple or the individual involved and the reasons and potential benefits fully explained.
I am always happy to discuss my approach and whether on line psychosexual and relationship therapy is right for a particular individual or couple. If you would like to talk to me about a your own situation, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I am an accredited member of the College of Sexual and Relationship therapists (COSRT) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I hold a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy (with distinction) from a COSRT accredited course. I am also a registered social worker with many years experience as a practitioner, educator and published author.
